Motorcycle Woes

It was a beautiful Tuesday morning. It was a warm but not terribly hot day. The previous few weeks had been spent searching the vast internet to find a motorcycle. You know, those fantastic two wheeled death machines.

Finally I had found one that fit into my budget, looked decent, and according to the older man. Ran well. It was a 1984 Honda Magna VF700C.

The previous night I had been in contact via email with the owner and I wanted to sleep on it to make sure this is what I wanted to do. I woke up and after thinking this over. I made the decision to just do it. No time like the present I tell myself. Read the rest of this entry

Blackberry Curve 8320 OS 4.5 Review

Blackberry Curve 8320

Blackberry Curve 8320

My first impressions of my Blackberry Curve 8320 from T-Mobile were pretty good. I enjoyed the shape and feel the device in my hand. It wasn’t overly bulky or cumbersome. The OS seemed pretty decent as well. Not great, but gets the job done.

When I picked up my 8320 my buddy also picked up the new Blackberry Pearl. His Pearl had the new 4.3 OS (later re-numbered to 4.5 for the Curves) from RIM. My phone had the old 4.2. I was disappointed because 4.5 had some cool features. It was also lacking in some areas. The default browser was something other than a web browser, the media player was just rubbish, when trying to hand off between UMA and EDGE I would drop calls, and there was no video recording option. T-Mobile HotSpot @Home – Review

I’ve been using this HotSpot @Home from T-Mobile for several months now and have come to really like it. A lot…probably to much. I’m a techno geek and I love my gadgets. I have a 1000 minute plan and on a regular basis I talk about 600-800 minutes a month. Sometimes more and sometimes less.

I got this service for a few reasons. One was that the company I was working for at the time required me to use a cell phone for tech support calls. I started this job and was very very close to going over my minutes each month. I heard about this hot spot program and jumped on it. It has worked like a champ. Granted I no longer work for said company I still have this service attached to my phone. Why? Why not stop and save me that $10 a month? I have no clue. Well, other than it’s fun! I love searching for open wireless signals at my favorite spots. I get all giddy when I find and can connect. I have to tell whom ever I’m with that I can make free phones and it no use my minutes! They just look at me like I’m retarded. Read the rest of this entry

Bachelor Recipe – Ramen Noodles

Lets get something straight here. I do know how to cook and I enjoy it a lot. I don’t however cook for people very often and most of the time it’s just me. Therefore, I have no desire to dirty a ton of dishes, drive to the store to get something I need, or make a ton of food that will get thrown away. This quick and easy meal is very tasty if you ask me and very bad for you. Two packages fills me up with a little left over and doesn’t make my kitchen an absolute disaster. You can also make this with pretty much what you have in your cupboards.

I was first shown how to make this from a friend back while I was in high school. It was a favorite after being slightly intoxicated. It’s also very easy on the pocketbook. For me, that is perfect since I’m in the process of basically selling 95% of my personal possessions and getting ready to move. I need to save every penny I can. Read the rest of this entry

4th Amendment Violation

I was browsing through Digg.com last night when I ran across this article. After reading this I was so furious i didn’t know what to do. Do I write letters or emails? Make a blog post? Run through the streets yelling “THE BRITISH ARE COMING THE BRITISH ARE COMING!”

I decided to write a little post and do my part in help spreading the word.
